Here’s the install instructions from the readme file, you’ll see that, while the license is outdated, by setting your clock back and using the cracked .dll you’ll be able to get around that…
1. Set your system clock date before the 30th of September 2004 (e.g. to the 25.9.2004)
2. Install the SAS V9.0 System with the included license (sas9834961.txt)
- Start by mounting “Setup Disk (cd1).iso”, and double-clicking “setup.exe” if it doesn’t autorun.
- When prompted, mount the other disks.
3. After installing, replace the original file sashost.dll in the sas folder with the patched version
- In win XP the folder is C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS System\9.0\
- make a backup of the original .dll file first
4. Set the date back to the real date–license will not expire anymore.
