Company ActiveState Software has released a product Komodo IDE 5, a new version of the award-winning, integrated development environment web-applications. Developers can use the provided tools for writing, debugging and software distribution package.

Version 5 supports the popular dynamic programming languages Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby and Tcl, as well as the speaker of javascript, CSS, HTML and XML. Among the improvements made special mention is enhanced debugging scripts javascript, viewer DOM Viewer, HTTP Inspector tool, etc. And the additional support “frame” systems, such as Ruby on Rails and CakePHP, and client libraries Yahoo! UI Library and Dojo, able to focus the entire development process within the working environment Komodo.

According to ActiveState, Komodo - the only unified language IDE for open-source (Perl, Python, PHP, Tcl, XML and XSLT), which you can edit, debug problems and test applications in a single working environment. Komodo also supports other programming languages, including Ruby and javascript. This is one of the most complex applications for Linux and Windows, to create ever, based on Mozilla.

History: Navigation (forward and back) buttons and a drop list in the toolbar that allow developers to browse though files and buffer locations they’ve been editing recently.

Find Highlighting: Komodo now highlights find / search matches in the buffer. Check out the screencast.
Hyperlinks: Hold down the Ctrl key (Cmd key on the Mac) and move the mouse around, and Komodo will underline the interesting (interactable) points under the mouse cursor. Find out more here.

Fast Open: The fast open dialog provides a quick and easy way for developers to access their files. Use the dialog to list and filter the files within the current working directory, files within the current project, recently opened / closed files as well as being able to switch to a currently opened file.
More Platforms: We’ve added support for a new platform: Linux/x86_64!
Better localization: Improved Komodo localization is now possible.
Numerous bug fixes and other minor improvements.
