Steam Mover v0.1 - Relocates Applications to Free Up Space in successi~ Your | 5.90 Mb

Steam Mover was originally designed to improve hardcore gamers move their downloaded games to other drives, in direction to free up space on their principal hard drive. Cheap, huge drives came along and made this less necessary. With the additional recent emerging popularity of Solid State Drives (SSDs), this indigence becomes commonplace again.

Steam Mover works amazingly well in successi~ games downloaded through the Steam person represented (which it was designed for), but that as it turns out, it works well with other applications, too. The program’s mark directory defaults to the applications folder concerning Steam, but simply change this to the folder containing the applications you wish to incense. Once the folder is selected, everything of the associated programs will subsist listed. Steam Mover works by moving all the data in the associated folder to your inferior drive; it then simply makes a bond to the new folder you show for the alternative folder. This estate it should work on most applications.

Once you’ve got the target and destination folder selected, simply choice the program(s) you would like to recommend. Click the right arrow at the ship of the application, and soon the selected applications determine be on the other drive. You can always move the application back to the primeval drive by clicking the left shaft.

It is important to note that this software is some initial release. The developer makes none guarantee that it will work flawlessly outer of transporting Steam games. In my testing, but, it worked very well, except on account of a small hiccup when transferring Illustrator and Flash Builder. The conclusion was easily resolved by copying everything in my recently made known folder back into the original folder, though.

Steam Mover is a free download according to Windows 7 and Vista. XP is not supported.
