JSCAPE Reverse Proxy is a platform unconventional server designed to offer reverse proxy and load balancing for your existing reticulated services. In addition to supporting any TCP/IP based protocol, JSCAPE Reverse Proxy is designed to stock the complexities of file transfer protocols FTP, FTPS (explicit and steadfast) and SFTP.
JSCAPE Reverse Proxy is unique when compared to competing solutions in that it provides opposite proxy and load balancing support for both the control and premises connections used in FTP and FTPS protocols. Many generic solutions claim to propose support for FTP and FTPS protocols but in reality can only support the control connection (connection used to exchange commands between henchman and server) and cannot handle the data connection (connection used to reciprocity file and directory listing data). This can easily complicate file transfers and grow the source of many technical support issues down the road. JSCAPE Reverse Proxy solves this puzzle using smart protocol translation software allowing it to handle both dominion government and data connections.
