System Shock 2 (commonly abbreviated SS2 or Shock2) is a philosophical knowledge-fiction horror-themed PC game that incorporates elements commonly seen in primeval-person shooters and role-playing games.

The title was developed through Looking Glass Studios and Irrational Games as a direct sequel to the seminal 1994 PC game System Shock and was released on August 11, 1999 ~ the agency of publisher Electronic Arts to widespread acclaim. Despite poor sales, System Shock 2 has as become a cult classic and is now regarded by critics in the same manner with one of the greatest games ever made.

System Shock 2 is a rudimentary person shooter come role playing game in which the player order play throughout the linear storyline collecting weapons, upgrading weapons and advancing skills and abilities.

The animals of the chase can take up to 30 hours of play to complete.

Furthermore, the System Shock line is father to Bioshock (you will understand why when you procure to be into it).

Additional Info:
This game can be played in co-efficacious mode with an additional three players (four in total) on a local area network. Using Hamachi, the co-operative mode can be played online. I personally recommend the co-operative play, it is extremely fun with the filled four players.

There are modifications available that can enhance gameplay well-drawn-wise and more.
